Cassy Humberger

As a multifaceted professional with over three decades of experience in the mortgage industry, I have honed my expertise in various roles, including wife, mother of two, nene of three, foster mother of one, host mother of four, and fur mother of a 10-month-old Great Dane.

My journey commenced in 1998 when I shifted my focus to renovation financing. During my tenure within the industry, I achieved remarkable success, ranking third nationally in production and playing a pivotal role in establishing renovation-focused teams. Notably, I designed, implemented, and rolled out renovation lending for several prominent lenders, including CMG, New American Funding, and Draper and Kramer.

My extensive travels across the United States have facilitated my ability to train thousands of loan officers and real estate professionals, empowering them to effectively close renovation loans. Throughout my career, I have held diverse positions, including loan officer, national renovation and construction trainer, business development leader, renovation divisional manager, and national director, overseeing both operations and sales within the renovation and construction department.

During my tenure at PrimeLending, the Renovation and Construction business generated substantial revenue, ranging from $40 million to $50 million. Furthermore, I have authored several articles, with one of them being published in the Scotsman Guide in 2010 titled “The Arts of Rehab.” In recent years, I have also transitioned into the role of an expert witness, providing valuable insights and analysis to mortgage companies, borrowers, and contractors involved in loans that encountered challenges and ultimately went to court.
